花花随母改嫁贵州，父母因意外离世，她被托付给孙大爷，相处不融洽。花花想逃离，决定去甘肃寻生父。孙大爷出于对儿子的弥补，护送她踏上旅程。一路相处，二人从互厌到有感情，最终孙大爷成功将她送回家，却也躲不过分离。
